Thanks for all your questions.  You may not see your exact question below, but many were the same or similar, so hopefully no one got left out.  Enjoy!

FAQ's:

1.    How do I contact you or get an autograph?

Detailed instructions and mailing information can be found on our Contact page.

2.     It must have been awesome to be nominated five years in a row for a Young Artist Award and win twice.

It was really surprised the first time because it was my first nomination. I went to L.A. for the awards that year and then again in 2007 when I didn't win, then I won in 2008 but I couldn't go because I was filming. I never did get the trophy.

3.    How do you feel when people confuse you with the character you play?

I just perform what's written for my character. We're told what the character is like and maybe some background, and then it's my job to make him come to life in the most believable way. I think most people can make the distinction between fantasy and real life... I hope so anyway!

4.    You went to Kenya and you do other charity work. Why is that important to you?

Some of the charity work I did was through school, but I have done other charity work outside of school.  Actors are often asked to support charities and make appearances at fund raising events and when I can, I do.  This winter I am canvassing for the MS Society in my neighbourhood.  It's really not hard to make a difference.

5.    Do you want to keep acting in the future?

    Definitely!

6.    What do you like to do on your free time?

Hang with friends, skateboard, snowboard, play basketball, listen to music.

7.    What kind of music do you like?

Beatles, Coldplay, Hendrix, Radiohead, Billy Talent, Led Zeppelin.

8.    Do you play an instrument?

    Guitar.

9.    How did you get started in the business?

    Commercials and small acting roles.

10.    How do I get into the business?

It depends where you live, but check out your local acting society or union for details.  In Canada, it's the Actra union at www.actra.com .

11.    Do you still model?

No, I stopped modeling when I was 10 to pursue acting.

12.  Is this really your official site?

Yes, everything you read here is accurate.  It is maintained by a third party webmaster.

    For sure.

Yes, I've been to Italy, England, Amsterdam, Africa, France, and several states in the U.S.

16. What’s your favorite – modelling, commercials, television or movies?

I’d have to say television and movies are tied at this point.  I’d love to get more movie roles.

17.  I was wondering if you will ever come to the United States to meet your fans?

    I’d love to.

18.  What kind of animal would you be, if you could?

One that can fly or breathe underwater would be fun.

19.  How long you have been acting?

I started in community theatre when I was around 10 and I did commercials before that.

20.  If you could give one piece of advice to people who are trying to make to  where you are in your acting career, what would it be?

It helps to have a family who supports you and an agent who believes in you, but ultimately it’s up to you to believe in yourself.  Rejection is a big part of this business and you can’t take it personally.

21.  What is your favorite thing about acting?

Getting into another persons shoes, expressing someone else’s ideas, meeting cool people, travelling.

22.   What kind of girl is your dream girl?

Someone who is easygoing and understands me.  Geez, I don’t even understand me, so that might be tough …..

23.   What it was like going from Wild Card to Degrassi? Is it easier to work with a  whole bunch of kids?

The shows are completely different.  Wild Card was an adult show with an adult star.  Degrassi, on the other hand, is an ensemble cast and most of us are within a few years of each other in age.  I don’t know if it’s easier, but it’s more fun!

24.   When you do the kissing scenes, is it weird at all for you to be kissing  someone with a lot of cameras watching you and having to do lots of takes?

Well, you may not know this but during any given scene, there are at least 30 people around. I try to keep it cool during those potentially awkward scenes by cracking jokes.

25.   What's it like working with the other actors on the set of one of Canada's most popular t.v. shows?

    It’s a blast.

26.   How did you make it on Degrassi?

I guess it was sort of like one of those lucky breaks you hear about.  I auditioned for a small guest role and ended up as a series regular.  The thing about lucky breaks is, you have to be ready when they come along.

27.   What do you like best about being on Degrassi?

Meeting fellow actors, playing a character some people can relate to, and being part of such a successful show.

28.   Have you ever gone through the same things Peter is going through?

    No, thank God.

29.   Do you sing?

I’ve never taken lessons or anything, but I like to sing.

30.   What zodiac sign are you?

        Cancer

31.    Do you have any siblings? If so, how many?

I have a brother, Chris who is 2½ years older than me.  There are pictures of him on the site.

32.   What’s an unusual fan request you’ve had?

I was asked to sign my boxers so they could be framed.  I declined that request.

33.   Do you have a myspace or do you post on any other boards?

No I don’t, but there are plenty of fakes, I hear.

34.   Do you sign your headshots yourself, or does someone do it for you?

    I sign them all.

35.   What music do you like?

    Mostly rock.

36.   Is it hard when you're acting and someone tells you, you are doing something wrong and makes you do it a different way over again?

I make my choices for my character in a scene when I’m learning the part.  On Degrassi, we have a cast read through and then a scene-by-scene walk through rehearsal with the Director a few days before shooting starts.  On shooting day, it’s the Directors job to suggest trying scenes in different ways, if he chooses, and I don’t take Director’s suggestions personally.

37.   Do you want to be musician?

    I’ve thought about it.

38.   What is your favorite movie?

Pulp Fiction just blows me away.
